December 2025 - Return to court in 2026
We’re eagerly awaiting the completion of work on the sports hall at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre scheduled for the first full week of January. The work will improve the playing surface and ensure the Sunday evening open section of the club can use a variety of net configurations for many years to come. The work is being funded by a grant from Mid Suffolk District Council’s Community Development Fund.
Meanwhile our activities at Stowupland High will continue early in the new year.
Our Volley2s sessions are for children in Year 3 and above, teens and adults. A mixture of adults & juniors and a range of levels from beginners to National League level attend. Multiple courts can be set up so we have games of different levels running at the same time. Volley2s runs on Wednesdays from 5:50-7:10pm at Stowupland High. The first session in the new year will be on the 7th of January. Newcomers will be welcomed throughout the year.
The men’s competitive section of our club competes across Suffolk and Cambridgeshire; a mixture of midweek evenings and weekends. They’ll be starting 2026 with training sessions on Wednesdays from 8-10pm at Stowupland on the 14th and 21st of Jan before their match schedule takes over most weeks. These training sessions are open to men who’d like to work towards competing.
Open sessions on Sunday evenings from 6-8pm at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre are aimed at adults and those in Year 9 and above. Due to the work on the sports hall our initial sessions will be dedicated to the club’s existing members. We’ll then be ready to welcome new members in late January / early February. Newcomers can register for these sessions now. The club will then let you know when it is ready to welcome you.
