Extra practice & fitness

We can't be together as often as we'd like. Here are a few resources to help improve fitness, reduce injuries and develop skills even while we're apart.

  • Volleyball England online Strength and Conditioning resource -  Created by Joel Brannigan, Talented Athlete Ssholarship Scheme National Lead for Strength and Conditioning. This easy-to-access programme introduces players to the key movement patterns and athletic qualities that underpin long-term performance and injury prevention.
  • Volleyball Challenge Channel - This is a way to promote the basics of Volleyball without the need of a coach. Progression through the challenges and achieving level 1 in each will prepare players for a lifelong experience in social and competitive volleyball

Fitness classes such as circuit training are also great ways to build fitness, strength, resiliance and avoid injuries.
