SportLomo & VolleyZone

We are affiliated to Volleyball England. To book onto their courses and receive their newsletter, some members will need to create a SportLomo account and register using their VolleyZone system.

Photo requirement

It's important that we have photos and videos to look back on. Videos can be helpful for analysis to help improve technique and tactics. We also like to show potential members what our club looks like with up-to-date photos on our website & social media and in local publications. Risks related to photos and videos are described here. As part of the registration process you will be asked whether you consent to us taking photos and videos and using these in these ways. If you are registering on behalf of an under-18: Please ensure you have discussed the benefits.

A photo of the participant will be requested. Volleyball England have strict requirements. These allow those playing in the National Volleyball League to be identified, coach registration cards to be produced etc. At this time a photo is a required field in their system.

If you are creating a VolleyZone account in order to book onto a coaching course, please upload a recent photo - it will help your tutor get to know you and be used on your registration card following completion of the course. 

If you are registering for another purpose and are willing to provide a photo it will help our leadership team get to know you. However, you will still be able to submit the form provided you've uploaded any small photo, e.g. our logo.

Players aged under 18:

  • A parent / guardian should complete initial SportLomo registration using their name and email address. They'll then provide participant's details at later stage.

  • Parents / guardians wishing to add extra players (or themselves) to their account should see this video for instructions.
